The president expressed their views and said the standard of our Indian institutions is very poor as compared to International universities. They felt sorry because they express the same views in every convocation function, but this is the truth and we need to increase the standard of higher education in India. The main reason behind that is the universities of India are not getting rank in the global 200 list of top universities in world. That's why the president said this thing again and again and wants to enhance it.
There are various people select abroad universities for doing master's degree or graduation because they are not satisfied with Indian universities. That's why they prefer International universities and get a degree. In our country, at least 40% vacancies for people in the central institutions not in those universities which are belong to state. We have around 35 thousand degree colleges, 660 institutions in those less than two crores students are enrolled in it for getting degree. But, these are not sufficient for raising higher education because we don't have any Nobel Laureate who are expert and studied in the University of India. So, this is a major side effect of India.
As we know, The CV Raman is the only scientist in India who got the Nobel Prize in the year of 1930. He was studying in Indian university and makes their career successful so that got such a wonderful award. These days' technical education and development is the basic need of each and every developed society because this thing can make successful and companies also want technical knowledge. In technical advancement, private sectors have to come in forward direction for the technical progress of nation. If they will come in this direction, then slowly-slowly government sector also take part in it. If students and experts work together so they can easily improve quality of education, research, science and development. Those countries are rapidly gaining highest rank and rising economically because they improve their technologies and technical knowledge. This is the reason of rising of other countries.
Some experts request to the faculties and students that they give their more attention on research and development because these two things are very important. President said that, students are not only job seekers; they are also job providers in future so teach them well and grow our nation successfully. Some students consider IIT institutes are just like a role model because they are continuously progressing in the field of research and development. Therefore, people are attracted towards it and preparing to get admission on those institutions. A recent report states about Bihar and explains there is no shortage of technical knowledge in our country and we have to improve our research and development field.
If our government improve higher education standard so the students take degree easily in our country and they don't' need to go anywhere. The main reason is, every student wants to become successful in their life and achieve several milestones.
