There are also other options to choose after completing engineering like applying for government jobs. But for this one must be prepared well in advance to get jobs in top government companies. These government jobs have added benefit as it has the same syllabus as that is conducted during the engineering course. The posts one can attain in these government jobs after engineering are Defense Services in army, navy and air force and a good job in Indian Railways.
The other options where the students can render their services include jobs in PSU,NTPC, ONGC, Indian Oil corporation limited, SAIL, BSNL, GAIL, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat heavy electrical limited, etc. It is up to an individual to decide his career and future. So it is very vital to make the right choice and choose the right college to pursue his studies.
Taking up engineering as a career itself is a good choice and after doing so there is lot of scope in various fields like chemical engineering, electronic engineering, bio informatics, advanced postgraduate program in Nanobiotechnology and marine engineering management.
