India, among all the countries, is known for its greenery and evolution. A lot of potential students are there that plan to make some bright future here, however during the process the students face a lot of trouble or hurdles. One of the important hurdles is the lighting or illumination source. A lot of rural areas or villages are there that are devoid from any electricity supply as in other towns. Due to this absence, the village people tend to put their focus on lanterns that are run on kerosene or candles to help them during their venture in completing their studies. Though these lanterns supply lighting but the main disadvantage of these lanterns are that they pose some amount of health hazards and moreover they are also expensive compared to the electricity which makes them unreliable.

In order to prevent this from happening a lot of people have taken a lot of initiative and one of the best one is OneChildOneLight (OCOL). This initiative was taken in order to ensure that every child in every locality, may it be a village or may it be in a town, does not suffer in his or her education due to lack of luminosity. The OCOL was made to give the children some new alternatives of light source that will help them to study without any hindrance. Some of its initiatives are like it has provided the children with lights that are made up of LED and can be used to supply lighting in the night. The lights are charged by means of solar power or sun's power. When a child goes to school in the morning, he or she can put the light in the sun and it will absorb the power and charge itself thus giving the child some nice light source in the night.
The main of this OCOL organization was to make sure that the children of the poor class or the villages that have not received the privilege of getting electricity do not compromise in their studies. This organization has taken a step forward to provide some cheap light sources to the people that are completely safe to use without posing any kind of risks related to the health and the most important thing is that you will be able to study as much time as you like in the night without facing any kind of problems.
The educational process of the children is very much important and the initiative taken by OCOL is very much appreciated by the common people. With this initiative, a lot of people are now getting benefitted and a lot of children are now finding time to study for extra hours in the night that were not possible before. Light plays an important role in education and OCOL acts as a medium to provide it without any problems.
