Word Teacher means who teaches & spreads knowledge in order to lighten up this world. Teacher has to be the director who always shows us the right path to follow. And that's why his evaluation is necessary, after all he is going to create a new doctor, scientist or an Engineer. Teacher evaluation System is introduced by first world countries & developing countries are also showing its involvement in their daily curricular or admin system.
Mostly what we see is, teachers they study from the books, mugs-up & place it in front of students. No explanation & no query session, which is a wrong technique of teaching. Good teaching isn't about just repeating the book lines again. So we have come up with the system of evaluating teachers in which we require good & trained evaluators who can focus on performance and improve teaching and learning.
Most of the schools are losing their performance because of the untrained teachers. They are inexperienced & teaching in experienced colleges at high salary wages, which is a big loss to educational institutes as they are producing no quality education. Such teachers need more supervision & proper training. Even students are also involved in evaluation process. Feedback forms are being filled by students in order to check the performance level of the teacher in every subject. These forms are evaluated by senior management after then. Classroom observation sessions & course plan review are also an effective evaluation measures to be taken to evaluate teacher proficiency.
Performance of the educational institutions & their students can be attaining only if the teacher will be Effective enough to teach & make them understand what real concept is. This system will make sure quality education. Big names & renowned universities are the leaders when we talk about effective education system. Small institutes can learn from these leaders change their educational systems to bring growth & improvement as well. This is not to rate a teacher or questioning him, it is to improve the excellence of the educator.
