Greed is always the motivation if you see it:
It's characteristic of human - Greed. The unrestrained desire to possess something beyond needs. Desire motivates greed and greed is always the force that pushes you towards what you want to get in life. Although this is considered as one of the 'seven deadly sins'; but a man can always control its own characteristics. Avoiding the definition saying 'beyond needs' let's consider we need almost everything as per today's lifestyle. If we see this desire of ours as the motivation we can use this characteristic for our individual or societal profits.
Achievement is the admiration: what you achieve in life is important and what you want after is more important. It's always the curiosity among people “what a super successful person would wish for?” but success is also an achievement and motivation for improvement. If a successful person won't want anything he'll be knocked down by life. Life treats you good when you chase something. Challenges bring good and bad times in your life, you face this, you enjoy this and this is what is supposed to be.
We start our job with some motive in our mind and we put some milestones in our mind-made pathway that is small goals towards our ultimate motive / aim. As we progress towards aim, we cover these milestones and this is our admiration that motivates us to go on with more zeal and enthusiasm. People use this method to keep themselves motivated for their ultimate goal.
Result will be reward: Rewards are appreciations and when someone gets appreciations for what he's done, it motivates him. 'What will be the outcome' is always our concern. We think of what use can this work make? It's good to think like that. It's good to be object oriented. Sometimes we pursue to get good things and we get results as our reward for what we've chased and results work as our appreciation in that case.
Our desires has no end. Satisfaction is end of growth. People don't satisfy in life. They keep on earning, getting better on things, stepping towards success and luxury. This greed is motivation for them. This excessive feeling of desire to achieve things that has importance in their lives is their motivation to achieve it.
The next Best: We usually push ourselves for what we want. We have this nature of chasing and competing with own selves. This nature takes us so far in life. We go to achieve good things and after getting those, having good things with us, we go for better things. This growth model always works in any situation. You can say: “this rule is applied to everyone.”
While satisfying our excessive desire or greed, we cover our small objectives at our best and then without rest we go towards the net best. This greed on the bright side is termed as 'the next best' and it pushes us. With greed, we'll want and proceed towards 'The Next Best'.
