The CBSE board has come up with the best possible way to take students forward in the future. At a certain point of time the students get confused about the way they want to move forward in life. They are confused whether they want to study science, commerce or arts. To help them to decide the CBSE board has come up with new ideas to guide them.
Students are often scared about the board results. They are unable to decide what they want to study in class 11 and 12 unless the board results have been declared. Depending on the board results they make their choices. It is obvious that parents all over the country encourage their children to study science and later become engineers. The students should also have a say regarding what they want to study in future. Education should not be forced on them.
The CBSE board has arranged for an aptitude test in order to assess the interests of students. It has been speculated that about 95%students want to study science with physics, chemistry and mathematics in the higher classes but not every student has the ability to cope up with the syllabus.
Three versions of these aptitude tests have already been held in previous years. It has helped the students in a very good way. The latest version was held in January. The students and the parents requested that the tests should be held earlier so that the students can get the examination results before the board exams. That would help them to choose a future stream before the class 10 CBSE board exams.
This time the test has been organized in November in order to give the students the time to decide. The entry fee for every single student is RS 100. Every student who wants to appear for the test must fill and submit the application form before the 15th of October. Online registration can also be done on the official website of the CBSE board.
This is an initiative that has been taken to improve the education system in India. This will give the students a lot to think about. Appearing for these tests they can have a better evaluation of their self capabilities. They can get to know what is good for them and what is not good for them. They can decide the stream better and proceed with their future career planning in a more organized manner.
The CBSE board advisory also sends various educational programs to the teachers of the schools. They also upload various power point presentations on their official website. The students can get to learn a lot more from these. The board provides every opportunity to prepare for the test. The response to the test is very good across the country. Almost 4, 00,000 students have already appeared in the test prior to this year. Many schools across the country have been notified on the information regarding the test.
