When companies come to colleges for the purposes of recruitment they are looking for students who are enthusiastic and willing to take initiatives in their lives. They want a group of innovative individuals who wish to take technology to the next step. Especially companies which offer lucrative packages, they are looking for individuals who have had a record of participating in competitions at the inter college level. They are looking for students who have participated in inventing something new whether it is a robot or automobile. It completely depends on the field of expertise of the student.

At the level of graduation or post graduation, companies are looking for individuals who have strong technical skills. They are looking for students who don't need to be taught. So, one has to be completely prepared to meet the expectations which are laid down by the company. If you are able to meet these requirements, then you are good to go. So you have to make sure that you are ahead of your competition at every step so that they can recognize you and give you the opportunity to prove yourself.
Another thing to remember is that students should never get de-motivated by bad job interviews. And they should never let one interview effect the rest that are about to come. So don't let your future be decided by the matter of chance. You should work towards and make things happen for yourself. You should always have the zeal to learn new things and learn them fast. Staying ahead of the competition is not an easy job, but that doesn't mean that it is impossible. Success is never served on a platter. One has to work towards it.
