Education is the basic foundation that should be laid down in every child’s life. Without proper education there is no way that a child can prosper in life. A child needs to be given the best possible education so that he can understand the world in a better way. Education will help them to grow into complete human beings. It gives them the power to think logically rather than just believing in what is said. They are meant to grow up and look after the country and for that they need to be educated well.
Interview with a school:
Recently a school was interviewed in Pune. The owner said that it was a dream of his parents to provide education to those who could not afford education due to financial problems. The school was started in 1989. They had a lot of problems in getting reorganization from the government of the state and other Education boards. They did not have proper channels with the ministers and hence it took them long to get recognized. The school started with just 12 students. In 1996 the school got recognition and the first batch passed out from the school.
No advertisement in education:
They did not believe in advertising for the school as they thought there was no place for advertisement in education. Education should always be clean. It was from the words of the people that the school gained popularity and now the school has about 2600 students. At first the school did not have the best infrastructure and the educational facilities. Slowly they made up with the regulations of the boards and they got recognized by the SSE board.
Improving results:
Over the years the school has come a long way. They provide the best quality education to their students. They have produced great results in the board examinations as well. A lot of students have scored above the 85% mark. In the last few years the school results have been extra ordinary. They do not stick to the syllabus. They provide a lot of value added teaching to the students. This values will help the students a lot I their practical life. No student got a second or third division in the board examinations in the last three years. They want to progress further in their way to providing better education.
Latest ways in teaching:
The teachers in the school do not stick to teaching only what is in the syllabus. They prefer to teach a lot extra as well. The ICSE board and the CBSE boards are known to have vast syllabus that help students a lot in competitive exams but this school follows the SSE board that has the latest syllabus and reduces pressure from the students. They ask students to follow the ICSE and CBSE books for extra reference to help them. Any kind of innovation in knowledge is not restricted in the school. Any kind of educational reform is welcome here.
