Today we live in a world full of miracles. Education has reached new heights in the last few years in the country. The students of the country have become more successful than before. The knowledge levels of the students have gone up tremendously. Something that was a dream a couple of decades back has now become reality. The age limit is no longer a bar for extraordinary students. Now education is based on merit and not on age.
Sushma Verma is a 13 year old girl with tremendous credentials under her name. She has qualified to study MSC microbiology at Lucknow University at a tender age of 13. Her name came out in the second merit list of the university. She had always wanted to study microbiology and now she has the opportunity. Her education is an achievement that many people cannot get to even at higher ages.
Her proud father Tej Bahadur Verma was overjoyed at the news. He locked the seat in the university for his daughter with immediate action. As soon as he heard the news he made sure that he had the seat locked for his daughter. He paid the admission fees required for the course and got his daughter admitted in the college.
There were eyebrows raised at her admission before. Her age was a major concern but now that concern no longer exists. She has been cleared to study the course. The Vice Chancellor of the University made a special request to the admission coordinator regarding her age. He also added that there will be no flaws and all the proper rules and regulations will be followed with her admission process.
Tej Bahadur Verma was given time till Friday to submit the fees of the course but he did not delay. He made the payment instantly online to get the seat registered in the name of his daughter. Though he works on daily wages he is confident that he will be able to pay the fees of the next few semesters as well. There will be no problem regarding his daughter’s education, he assured that.
Sushma was very happy herself. She did not want to lose a year in achieving her goals and targets and hence she said her father to pay the fees. She always wanted to go to Lucknow University. She completed her graduation from a college close to her house which was affiliated under the LU. Her father used to drop her to college and bring her back home. Even though LU is at some distance from her house she is looking forward to studying there.
Like all other students taking admission she has to report to the department on the 2nd of September. Since this is a self paid course at least 40% of the students must be admitted before classes can start. The University has 30 seats. Once there are 12 seats and are paid the classes can start on a regular basis.
