Introduction – Why Malaysia
Is in the heart of south east Asia. It currently ranks 11th around the world when it comes to international students. The nation itself consists of different racists, cultures and religions. There are two areas- west and east Malaysia. East Malaysia consists of a federal territory and two large states known as Sabah and Sarawak. West Malaysia consists of 11 States and 2 Federal territories .
The capital of the country, Kuala Lumpur is a foodie’s paradise. The cuisines range from vegetarian to non-vegetarian to western. The most common dishes are nasi Lemak, Roti canai, curry laksa, popiah, beef randany and Pasembur. There local attires include baju melayu, a loose tunic and kebaya, tight – fitting two piece dress. Malaysia is known for its high technology infrastructure and as an IT hub.
Racism arises from racial preferences and border tensions between various ethnic groups. Although it is a multi ethnic country.
Education system
With around more than 700 private higher educational institutes, Malaysia offers a good prospective for students who wish to study at low cost. Many Americans and British Universities have set their campuses in Malaysia.
The Universities and courses approved by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia are approved by any other country’s ministry of Education.

Requirements for Visa – How to Apply
1.Visa and Student Authorization procedure
You are required to complete your application requirements and send them to the immigration section of Malaysia High commission. Remember that the documents you submit must be original or notarized photocopies and accompanied by a duplicate copy.
Keep in mind that one of the most important requirements for your visa procedures is the acceptance letter from your college of choice. Please bear in mind that you should begin applying for the same at least six months prior .
2.Documents required
i.An original approval letter from the Department of Immigration of Malaysia and 2 photocopies
ii.Two photocopies of passport
iii.Two photocopies of visa applications
iv.Two passport sized photograph of applicant
v.Original air ticket and 2 photocopies

3.Evidence of funds
You must be able to reveal sufficient financial resources to pay for tuition fees and maintenance. You will require bank statements of around 3 months with your last month showing a minimum of GBP 600+ .
4.Interview
An interview with a Visa Officer of Malaysia may take place. You will be informed of the time and place for the same. The questions they ask you will only be related to the rules and regulations of Malaysia.
5.Medical examination
Any one who enters Malaysia must pass a medical test.
If you are found in good health and there are no concerns with your application, you will get your Visa and Student Authorization.
