If you love to write and want to express your views, thoughts than you should start blogging and become a leading blogger with us.

There will be a separate page dedicated to your blogs, where you write and we will publicize your thoughts.

To start writing blog you have to understand these simple steps.

First of all login to your account and click on Blogs tab on the left side of dashboard.

After clicking on this, a window will appear in which you have to click on Add Blog tab.

Write a Post

General

Title

Enter a title, and subtitle (optional). If you don’t enter a title, the first few words of your post will be used instead.

Add an image which best describe your Blog.

Category

Select a category for your blog, which best suit your blog.

When you click on this tab, a drop down menu will appear which show different categories of blogs, for instance, General education, Career & Jobs, Sports etc…, select any one category from the list.

Tags

Tagging is important not only because it brings your blog traffic, but also because it can bring you the right kind of traffic.

It connects you to people who are passionate about the same topics as you, and who might belong to online communities you want to tap into.

Whenever you put commas(,) in your content, that particular word become a tag.

Editing & Formatting

This is the editor which you can use for editing and formatting your content.

Style

With this tool you can change the style of your text.

You can change the style and font of your content by using following options.

Bold

To use Bold text in your post:-

  1. Higlight text you want to bold.
  2. Click on the icon in the toolbar.

Keyword Shortcut: Ctrl+B

Italic

**To use Italic text in your post:-

  1. Highlight text you want to Italic.
  2. Use Ctrl+I.

Underline

To use Underlined text in your post:-

  1. Highlight text you want to underline.
  2. Click on the icon in the toolbar.

Keyword Shortcut: Ctrl+U

Remove Font style

This tab is used to remove the font style, which you have added to your text.

For instance, if your text is in Bold and you want it to be in normal format, then you can use this icon.

To use Remove font style icon in your text:-

  1. Highlight text which is in Bold/Italic/Underlined.
  2. Click on the icon in the toolbar.

Keyword Shortcut: Ctrl+/

Recent Color

By using this tool, you can change the Background color and Foreground color (Text color.)

To change the Background & Text color:-

  1. Higlight the text whose color you want to change.
  2. Click on the icon in the toolbaar.

A drop down menu will appear, from which you can choose the color in background and text color.

Unordered List

This tool is used to present your content in Bullet format.

To write your content in points format, Click on the icon in the toolbar.

Keyword Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Num7

Ordered List

This tool is used to present your content in numbered format.

To write your content in order list(number list), Click on the icon in the toolbaar.

Keyword Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Num8

Paragrapgh

By clicking on the icon, you can change the Paragraph pattern of your content.

A drop down menu will appear, from which you can choose any of the pattern and can change the pattern of content.

  1. :-** This icon is used to start the content from left corner.
  2. :- This icon is used to start the content in the middle of the Text box.
  3. :- This icon is used to start the content from right corner.
  4. :- This icon is used to write in a justified manner. For instance, if you are writing in right corner and now want to write in a normal pace, then by using this icon, your cursor will move to the left corner i.e. in it’s general place.
  5. :- By using this icon, your text will move to the outer side i.e. in the left side.
  6. :- By using this icon, your text will move to the inner side i.e. in the right side.

Table

If you want to add some content in table format, than you can use this icon.

By clicking on the icon, a drop down menu will appear, from which you can select the size of table. for eg. 1x8, 5x4 etc…

You can add links to your post by clicking on thie icon.

Add link to your content, by clicking on link icon, a window “Insert Link” appear on the screen in which you have to add a Text to Display and URL to which that link go.

The text which you add should be present in your content. That text will be dispaly in orange colour in your content.

Insert Image

You can also add image in your blog.

By clicking on the icon, a window will appear in which you an select image from your system and can insert image to your blog.

You can also drag and drop single or multiple images into Brainbuxa posts or copy/paste single images into a post.

Video

Like image, you can also add video to your blog, by clicking on video icon in the toolbaar.

Add URL of Youtube or Instagram etc… to insert video in your blog.

Full screen

You can write or can see your complete post at a single page without doing scrolling again and again.

Click on the icon and your content will be shown in full screen.

Code view

If you want to view your content in HTML form, than you can click on code view icon.

By clicking on the </> icon, your whole content will be shown in HTML code.

After writing the content and doing all the editing and formatting, you have to publish the content.

Actions

Published

By using this icon, you have to slide the cursor on “Yes” or “No” under “Published” tab and then click on “Save” button.

Once you have done with publishing, your Blog will get saved and it will be under approval process from admin.

Your post will get verified, after our team will check your article, that it follows our Content Guidelines.

Edit a post

To edit a published post, you must be signed into the account which authored it:

  1. Navigate to the Blogs tab in your dashboard.
  2. Click on the icon appearing on the strip of your blog.
  3. Make the desired changes.
  4. Click Publish to publish your changes.

After get approved from admin side, you will get a confirmation mail on your registered mail address, that “Your Blog has been posted on our portal.”

You can check it on the homepage of our portal.

Here you can see the no. of views and no. of shares on your blogs.

, this icon will show the no. of views on your blog, and no. of shares will be displayed below the date mentioned.
