Campus
The University’s campus is the biggest in Singapore and is widely known to be one of the top 15 most beautiful campuses in the world (American Express’s Travel + Leisure magazine). The campus in itself is a multicultural cosmopolitan hub comprising of more than 100 nationalities. There are around 33,500 students, 4,000 faculty and researchers.
The main campuses of the university are:
1.Yunnan Garden Campus
The primary campus, the Yunnan campus spreads across an area of 200 hectare. The campus is adjacent to the town of Jurong West. It is also the largest university campus of Singapore, home to the largest on-campus residence infrastructure which includes 18 halls of residence for undergraduates and two graduate halls.
2.NTU@one-north
This is located in the one-north business park. In this campus is located the NTU Alumni Clubhouse. The campus consists of two wings, both with educational and recreational facilities aimed to enhance the delivery continuing education programmes through the Centre for Continuing Education and Confucius Institute of NTU.
3.Novena Campus
The Novena Campus is close to Tan Tock Seng Hospital , LKCMedicine’s teaching partner. There is a new 20-storey building for clinical sciences(CSB) which is expected to be completed by 2016. This CSBbuilding will also act as the research place for LKCMedicine researchers, with connected laboratories through collaboration.

Undergraduate
halls
NTU has a total
of 18 Halls of Residence which are meant for undergraduate students, each of
the halls with a capacity of between 500 & 659 residents. In total they
accommodate more than 10,000 local and international students. Every freshman
is guaranteed a hostel room for his/her first year at least. Under the Campus
Master Plan, an additional 3,750 students will be able to experience hostel
life by mid 2016.
All halls are
co-ed by floor or wing and offer single and double occupancy rooms which are
fully furnished.
Graduate halls
Graduate halls
are slightly different than the freshman halls. On-campus housing for graduates
is available only at two on-campus graduate halls - Graduate Hall 1 and
Graduate Hall 2, with a capacity of 476 and 852 respectively.

Finances

The annual
tuition fees for international students in 2013–14 ranged from £7,867–17,477
(S$15,300–33,900). However, students must note that the fee depends on the
course for which they have opted and must confirm the cost of the same from the
University website.
Scholarships
According to
NTU, a student must not lose on the opportunity of high level education due to
financial conditions. To help students, the University offers a range of
tuition fee loans, study loans and bursaries. It also offers its students work
and study schemes and exchange programs..
The foremost
undergraduate scholarship of the University, The Nanyang Scholarship, is
awarded to outstanding and deserving students looking to pursue undergraduate
programmes. It recognises and appreciates students excel academically,
demonstrate strong leadership potential, and possess outstanding co-curricular
records.
Eligibility
- Open to all nationalities.
- Successful awardees should read a full-time
undergraduate degree program. The scholarship will cover the years of study at
NTU.
- Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A'
level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma,
IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
