Spreading across an area of 1,000 acres, the main campus is enclosed by Waterloo Park to the south, Wilfried Laurier to the south East and Laurel Creek Conservation Area to the North West.

Students Facilities
There are 2 student unions which have organisations and
clubs running under it. These include activities in the areas of academics,
culture, religion, social issues and recreation. The University also has its
own newspaper known as Imprint and a campus radio station known as CKMS-FM.
The University has several sports teams which are together
known as the Waterloo Warriors. These cover badminton, baseball, cross country,
figure skating, golf, hockey,rugby etc.
The University has a Physical Activity Complex which has 2
gyms, one beach volleyball, squash courts and a swimming pool.
It has 4 libraries holding over 1.4 million books and
electronic resources.
