From January 29, national scholarship initiative of
Oral-care company Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited will be started as it
announced the same in order to provide impetus to children with potential.
The families who win the scholarships will get up to Rs 1
lakh available till February 29th. The initiative by Oral-care company
Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited aims to provide over 200 scholarships of up
to Rs 1 lakh across the country.
According to the managing director of Colgate-Palmolive
(India) Limited (Issam Bachaalani), with this initiative they hope to create an
impact on everybody’s lives and with the scholarship children would be able to
fulfill their dreams. They are thankful to the families for their participation
especially those families who won last year and shared their stories.
The scholarship is beneficial for students as it enables
them to enroll in a particular class, study in a better school, buy books and
stationery. Not only being beneficial, Colgate’s scholarship programme had
succeeded in spreading the importance of oral care through their initiative.
It was first started in the year 2009 and has benefited
over 1200 families. For participation, consumers have to give a missed call on
a toll free number printed on the pack of Colgate Strong Teeth toothpaste.
Then, they have to answer a question on Oral Care to avail the opportunity to win
the scholarship.
