Indian women are always looked down by the society as they are kept behind bars by the society. Their lives have become like jail. Even in the 21st century this is a regular scenario where a girl child is abandoned and a boy child is embraced with open arms. Even today people believe that a girl child is a burden on the father and a boy child will look after the family in future.
Even today the society is not ready to accept a woman o the equal level as a man. Women across the country have proven themselves time and again that they can compete with men at6 the same level. However the society thinks in a different way. Even today when a woman works to run a household, she is looked down by the society.
The views of the people need to be changed. The people need to understand that women are not only meant to take care of the household. The mentality of the people needs to be challenged. People need to support women. The abuse on women will only demean them. They need to be respected. They need to be given a fair chance to perform to their capability.
Without giving them a fair chance they should not be made second to men. There are things that a woman can do way better than a man. A woman can handle clients in a better way than a man. A woman understands people better and has the patience to deal with unsatisfied clients. The ability to handle pressure is also better.
Still in India women are deprived of education. A girl is made to stay at home and learn all the household work and only the boys are sent to school. The girl child faces partial discrimination on a daily basis. The government has taken certain steps to educate the girl child. The government has started providing free education at the basic level to girls across the country. This is a way to ensure that money is not a problem in educating the girls.
The rural areas are the main places where women abuse has been increasing. The government has formulated laws to help the women rise against all odds. The women need to know the laws so that they can rise. To know the laws they need to be educated enough to read and write. They are being provided education by the NGOs and government.
Save the girl child is another initiative taken by the government to stop female feticide. Today providing education to girls has become a global agenda. Girls need to be motivated so that they can think highly of themselves. They need to be guided on the right path so that they may reach new heights in life. Indian women have always made the country proud. There is no point in holding a girl back. In today's world a girl can do exactly what a boy can do.
