Established in the year 1701, Yale University is an Ivy League private research University which is the third oldest institution of America. It is situated in New Haven, Connecticut. The QS World University Rankings places it fourth amongst the world top Universities whereas Times Higher Education World University Rankings places it tenth.
It is affiliated to Ivy League, AAU, , IARU and NAICU.

The campus is located in New Haven, Connecticut , which a port city around 120 kms from New York City. Facilities
Yale University has several student
fraternities and sororities. It boast of various students groups and activities
which take place on it campus. There is a radio statsion run by the University
known as the WYBC Yale Radio
Accommodation
Yale
University offers twelve residential hostels in each of it colleges listed
above. Every year, efforts are made to accommodate all undergraduate students
in the residential colleges. Students live their throughout their course (and
beyond). Good facilities, comfortable accommodation and a good environment are
prevalent in these residential colleges. The students get various opportunities
to take part in several extracurricular activities.
