The University of Bristol is ared brick research university located in Bristol, United Kingdom.It
received its royal charter in 1909, and its predecessor institution,University College, Bristol, had been in existence since 1876. The University of
Bristol is ranked 11th in the UK for its research, according to the Research
Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 by GPA.The University of Bristol is ranked 37th
by the QS World University

Campus
Bristol is organised into six
academic faculties composed of multiple schools and departments running over
200 undergraduate courses situated in the Clift on area along with three of its nine halls of residence. The other six halls are located in Stoke Bishop, an outer city suburb located 1.8 miles away. The
university had a total income of £530.9 million in 2014/15, of which £148.4
million was from research grants and contracts.

Accommodation
UK and EU students (home fees)
The University guarantees an offer of accommodation for the first year of study to all UK and EU undergraduates who apply by 31 July 2016, provided that they:
- Have firmly accepted an offer of study at Bristol,
- Are coming to study at Bristol for the first time,
- Are unaccompanied (i.e. without dependant family members, spouses or partners).
The guarantee does not apply to students who:
- Miss the application deadline,
- Have not firmly accepted their offer of study by 31 July 2016,
- Have previously studied at the University of Bristol.
International students
The University guarantees an offer of accommodation for the first year of study to all international fee paying undergraduates who apply by 31 August 2016, provided that they:
- Have firmly accepted an offer of study at Bristol,
- Are coming to study at Bristol for the first time,
- Are unaccompanied (i.e. without dependant family members, spouses or partners).
The guarantee does not apply to students who:
- Miss the application deadline,
- Have not firmly accepted their offer of study by 31 August 2016,
- Have previously studied at the University of Bristol,
- Are Study Abroad or Erasmus students.
Tuition Fees
The annual tuition fee for UK and EU undergraduate students commencing their studies at the University of Bristol in 2017 is £9,250. Tuition fees are likely to increase each subsequent year from 2017 and these increases will be in line with UK Government policy.
