A Brief Introduction
A public research university in Geneva, the University of Geneva was founded in 1559, and celebrated its 450th anniversary in 2009. In terms of students, the University is the second largest in Switzerland and at least 40% of its students are from various countries around the world.
It is constantly ranked as one of the top universities in the world. According to Shanghai Ranking, it ranked 58th around the world in 2015, whereas it ranked 69th in 2012. According to QS Rankings, it is ranked 133rd in world whereas Newsweek ranked it 32nd in the world.

Fees
Like all other Swiss Institutions, the University is a public one.
The fees for one semester amount to 500 CHF plus an administration fee of 65 CHF.
Students who study in the University as part of exchange programs between their Universities and the University of Geneva do not have to pay any additional fee. There are no additional fees for registering for the ‘Certificate in Transnational law’.
