AMIE grants
The Ile-de-France region offers help for studying abroad: 445€ per month
Germany
The Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD)offers study and research grants in Germany. DAAD: German Office for University Studies, infodaad@daad.assoc.fr. The Parliament in BERLIN offers three research grants every year (travel costs, accommodation plus a monthly allowance of 770€ or 1,300€) limited to students carrying out research work on Berlin or modern Germany.
Canada
The Canadian Cultural Centre (Department of University Relations) offers research grants in Canadian studies (3 to 5 years plus travel costs).
China
Chinese Government Grants(Chinese Scholarship Council). There grants are available to French students (Master’s/PhD) and researchers who wish to study in a Chinese higher education institution and include:
- Exemption from tuition fees
- Free accommodation on campus
- 140 to 200€ per month (sufficient for food and transport)
- Health insurance (Benefit Plan for International Students in China)
- Part payment of student travel card
Hong Kong
The Research Grants Council of the University of Hong Kong has set up a programme of PhD grants. It attracts brilliant international students and offers generous PhD grants in a wide range of fields (humanities, business, social sciences, engineering sciences, medicine, physical sciences). About 135 grants will be awarded throughout the world: approximately 2,600US$ per month for 3 years, plus travel grants of 1,300US$ per year.
