A Brief Introduction
Established and opened in 1966, the University of Southern Denmark comes under the top 50 young Universities of the world.
Home to more 27,000 students, with around 20% of international student population, the University has 5 faculties and more than 4,000 employees across its main campus in Odense and regional campuses in Slagelse, Kolding, Esbjerg and Sønderborg.
Campus
The university has a total of 7 campuses located at:

- Slagelse,
- Copenhagen,
- Denmark.
The Odense campus is regarded as the main campus due to its size and the fact that the central administration operates from this campus.
This campus has 15,000 students pursuing programs in the areas of Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities, which together offer more than 100 basic courses.
The campus has a high professional level and a vibrant study environment. Almost all students are gathered under one roof, creating a dynamic atmosphere of learning.

The programs are divided into quarters, each semester has 2 quarters, i.e., a program is divided into 4 quarters in an academic session:

The Odense campus generally accommodates all of the University’s international students, especially guaranteed to those students who apply for accommodation by the deadline 1st/November 1st.
The campus in Odense has an accommodation office. All accommodation for international students at the campus in Odense is coordinated through the Accommodation Office.
