Student Facilities
The University offers the following facilities to its students:
Accommodation
The University does not provide any accommodation of its own and thus you are expected to look for a room or apartment for yourself. Since many students study in Copenhagen, it is advisable to begin your search well in advance and especially not near the time of commencement of a semester. It can be expensive to live in Copenhagen, especially close to the city centre. The average cost of renting a room is between 3000-4000 DKK including bills. You will normally also have to pay a deposit, which can range from one month’s rent to three month’s rent in advance.
Tuition Fees
EU/EEA citizens or citizens of Switzerland are not required to pay tuition fees to enroll in degree programs in Denmark as their tuition fees are financed by the Danish Government. Similarly, applicants holding certain Danish residence permits are exempted from paying tuition fee (for more details visit studyindenmark.dk).
Citizens from all other countries are required to pay tuition fees at institutions of higher education in Denmark.
Note: Holders of a British Overseas passport are not EU citizens and are therefore also required to pay the tuition fee.
