Fees
The current tuition rates of Chinese-medium programs for international students have remained unchanged for more than ten years since adjustments in 2001. XMU has devoted significant amounts of resources to building a faculty of international standing, launching a comprehensive range of academic programs with English as the medium of instruction, and upgrading its infrastructure. Thus, the University has adjusted its tuition rates according to the policy of the Ministry of Education and by taking into account the tuition rates of other higher-education institutions in China. The adjustments of the tuition fees also reflect inflation and the rising costs of academic programs for international students. International students enrolled in the 2015-2016 academic year and onwards will follow new tuition rates which are to come into effect in 2015.
