Nation building is a tough work and needs the best
educational system which can help in getting the lost glory of the nation back.
It is only possible if the students are trained well with systematic educational
process and if the students are taught better ways of character building while
learning, said K N Tripathi, Governor of West Bengal .
He emphasized on the need of making students understand the
purpose of education and also felt that the student should develop a strong
character along with getting educated, which is useful in reviving the lost
glory of the country and to make our country as one of the best in the world.
He added that only educational system can help students to understand that the
end of education should result in building a strong character of a person.
The Governor spoke after inaugurating the 7th All India
conference of Bhavan’s Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools’ Principals on
Thursday. The Governor of West Bengal stressed that children should be trained
for positive changes in life and that teachers must teach the students more
about spiritual science or Brahma Vidya than physical science. He stated that
“the base of Bharat is spiritual morality on which the entire country stands
strongly”. While talking to the Principals and teachers of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan,
the Governor stressed on the need for students to be taught to understand the
cultural, ethical and moral values in life and that for this, institutions need
good and hard working teachers. He further recommended Principals to guide the
teachers while training the students in everyday life.
