Class 12 board exams results were declared by the CBSE on Sunday i.e. May 28 on the official website of CBSE at cbse.nic.in. Gurleen Kaur, an 18 year old visually impaired student from Punjab scored 89 percent in her class 12 exams.
About Gurleen
- Gurleen is a student in Cambridge International School for girls
- By birth she is suffering from the disability
- In an interview with the Gurleen's mother, she shared Gurleen's study schedule. "She gets up at 6 am and studies. On the day of exam, she used to get up at 2 am and study till 8. Whenever I asked if she needed any help, she used to say that she will manage".
- Gurleen loves to play games on laptop and said "I am a gadget freak. I love to play games and work on the laptop ".
- In future Gurleen's mother want her to become an IAS.
In this year's board exams of class 10 and 12 more than 27 lakh students appeared for the exam out of which 10,98,891 appeared for the class 12 exam.
Pass percentage
This year's All India pass percentage is 82 percent as compared to last year which was 83 percent.
