The Delhi government will bring in the retired principals and vice principals to teach at the nodal center which are meant for the Vishwas group students. These are the students who have failed in class IX and X repeatedly. To teach them, government has decided to set up 163 study centers in government schools under Directorate of Education, where regular classes will be held for these students.
Last year, each school had their own Vishwas group centers where students attended classed on regular basis and appeared as private candidates in class X board exams and failed in large numbers.
In an attempt to improve the results retired principals and vice-principals will be appointed as in-charges and coordinators of the nodal centers where their duties will be get the students registered and monitor the enrollment records. They will be employed on contractual basis.
