'VidyaDaan
2.0' is the Education Ministry’s initiative to curate e-learning content for
the students across the country. The decision to launch the second edition was
taken in the DIKSHA review meeting where it was decided to crowdsource the
tools so that high quality content can be obtained from expert
teachers/individuals and organizations.
In phase 1,
CBSE was able to develop a repository of over 10,000 e-learning content pieces
from various curators.
For classes
11-12, chapter wise PDFs are available on the DIKSHA platform along with lesson
plans, concept maps and other reading material. There is also a content
contribution tool in VidyaDaan 2.0 through which contributors can register and
contribute different types of e-learning content for classes 1-12.
Educational
institutions such as schools, government and non-government organizations,
individuals, Educationists
and subject experts can submit the content.
Individuals
and organizations who are interested in contributing can register on the
platform by May 10.
