The last date to submit the online application form for the UPTET 2018 exam is tomorrow i.e. Thursday, October 4 but due to some technical issues website is not responding and candidates are unable to register for the exam.
According to the schedule, the exam will be conducted by the State board on November 4, 2018 and candidates interested in applying for the exam is required to do so by visiting the official website -- upbasiceduboard.gov.in. However, the last date to submit the fee for the exam is October 5. The registration process for the exam started on September 17.
UPTET exam is mandatory for the candidates who are interested in teaching jobs at the primary and upper primary level. The admit card for the exam will be released on October 19.
The exam is scheduled for November 4, 2018 and will be held in two shifts. The morning shift will commence from 10:00 am and will continue until 12:30 pm and afternoon shift will commence from 2:30 am and will continue until 5 pm in the evening.

Eligibility criteria for the primary school teachers
- Candidate should be a graduate along with the two years of B.T.C training or,
- Candidate should be a graduate/post-graduate from NCTE/RCI recognized university with 2 years Diploma or,
- Candidate should be a graduate with two years of training in Hindi or Urdu or,
- Candidate should have secured 50 percent marks in class 12 and have completed a four-year diploma in B.EL.ED
Eligibility criteria for the upper primary school teachers
- Candidate should be graduate with two years of B.T.C training or,
- Candidate should be graduate or post graduate with 50 percent marks from recognized university and also must have two years B.D/B.D (Special) diploma.
- Candidate should hold a graduate/post graduate degree with 50 percent marks from NCTE recognised institute or,
- Candidate should be graduate with 50 percent marks from recognized university. They should have two years B ED/ Special B ED diploma or,
- They should have secured 50 percent marks in Class 12 standard and four years diploma in B.EL.ED.
