UP Board
will release the results of board exams in June, said Deputy Chief Minister
Dinesh Sharma. The Minister also said that evaluation of the papers which were
conducted before the lockdown has begun in various parts of the state.
Mr. Sharma
said that the evaluation of the exams is currently going on in green zone and
the same will be taken in red zones.
"The
work of evaluation of the answer sheets of the 10th and 12th board examinations
of the Secondary Education Council Prayagraj will start from May 5 in the
districts declared as green zones in the state," the minister had tweeted
in the first week of May
Uttar
Pradesh Secondary Education Council Secretary Neena Shrivastava had earlier
said that nearly 56 lakh students had appeared for the exam. The results will
be released on the official portal -- upresults.nic.in.
Last year, the results of the annual board exams were
released in April.
