Symbiosis Institute of Skill Development (SISD) has signed four MoUs aiming at increasing the employability of the students.
The four MOU's that were signed, included, Telecom Sector Skill Council of India for telecom skills, Abhi Impact Solutions Pvt Ltd. for logistic and transport management skills, Rajasthan Beauty Institute for beauty and wellness skills and Ghulam Nabi Azad College, Barshitakli, Akola for teaching their students logistics, retail, marketing skills etc. These MOU's were signed in the presence of various dignitaries like, Pradeep Jaswani, Consultant, Western Region, Telecom Sector Skill Council of India, Jitendra Joshi, MD and CEO, Abhi Impact, Dr Manoj Jadhav, Director, Ghulam Nabi Azad College, Barshitkali, Akola, SuvarnaGoogale, Proprietor, Rajasthan Beauty Institute, Jacob George, Head EXIM and Commercial Thermax, Girish Bihani, Director, Amit Warehousing Pvt. Ltd.
On this occasion, Prof(Dr) S S Patil, Head, SISD & SCC, said, "Symbiosis Skills University is the first university in India to impart skill based quality education in Indore (MP) and Pune. All the programmes focus on imparting skills by offering entrepreneurship development, soft skills training and structured internships along with class room theory training."
The main objective of these MOU's was to increase the employability of the students and make them suitable and skilled to serve Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, in the respective industries.
