According to an official release, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has assured Arunachal Pradesh’s Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra that the proposed Kendriya Vidyalayas will be opened in the state during the current financial year.
The HRD Minister gave the assurance regarding the matter when the governor met him in New Delhi and discussed the issues regarding the education in the state.
Javadekar said that the proposed KVs will be opened in the state within this financial year and the requisite cabinet proposal will be moved shortly.
The upcoming KVs have been proposed in Kurung Kumey, Dibang Valley, Namsai, Upper Subansiri, Anjaw, West Siang and Upper Siang districts. Minister assured that center is committed to improve the primary education and dropout rates in Arunachal Pradesh.
