The registrations for the Joint Entrance Screening Test 2019 will commence from tomorrow i.e. November 8, 2018. The exam is expected to be held on February 17, 2019. The last date to submit the online application form is December 15, 2018. Those who are working in SERB (Science & Engineering Research Board) programs and have qualified NET exam are also eligible for the enhanced scholarship. JEST is a national eligibility test recognized by the SERB. The exam is held for the different courses which have different criteria for the eligibility. Candidates who are willing to appear for the JEST exam must have completed their final year exams by August. The exam score is valid for one year. The exam is for the candidates who are seeking admission in a Ph.D. / Integrated Ph.D. program in physics or theoretical computer science or neuroscience or computational biology in one of the participating institutes.
