The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has extended the registration date for the Yuva Vigyani Karyakram (YUVIKA). The main aim of the program is to raise students’ curiosity in space science. The registrations for the program were supposed to close today but now the last date has been extended by 10 days. YUVIKA program was announced in 2018 by ISRO Chief Dr. K Sivan.

YUVIKA program was also mentioned by PM Narendra Modi on February 23 in his 62nd Mann Ki Baat radio program.
About YUVIKA, the PM said, "YUVIKA is a laudable initiative by ISRO for associating the youth with science. This program is in the line of our vision-Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Vigyan, Jai Anusandhan".
ISRO thanked PM Modi for mentioning the YUVIKA program in his radio program. "In order to have greater participation, we would like to extend the date for registration by 10 days," it has tweeted.
