The results of the JEE Main Paper 2 held by the newly formed National Testing Agency have been released. The exam was held in January 2019 and results for the same are now available on the official website -- jeemain.nic.in. This year a total of 1,80,052 candidates had registered for the exam of which 75,658 were females, 1,04,393 were male candidates and one was transgender.
The score for the exam have been declared in percentile format and two boys Gudla Raghunandan Reddy and Gollapudi N Lakshmi Narayanan from Andhra Pradesh have score 100 percentile. According to an official working with NTA a total of 1,45,386 candidates appeared for the exam.
NTA has also released the final answer key for the JEE Mains 2 exam and candidates can check the same by visiting the official website of the NTA.
The official ranks for the exams will be released after the agency has conducted another exam in April.
Steps to check the results
Students can follow the below-mentioned steps to check the results
- Visit the official website of the NTA as mentioned above
- On the homepage click on the link ‘JEE Main paper 2 result’
- A new page will open. On the new page enter your application number, date of birth and code given on screen
- Click on the submit button
- Your result will be declared on the screen
- Download the result and take the print out of the same for future reference
Earlier, NTA had declared the results for the JEE Mains paper 1 on January 19. The JEE Mains paper 2 was conducted on January 8, 2019.
