Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal has announced examination dates for Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2016.
MAKAUT is a public state university in Kolkata, India, founded in the year 2000 and funded initially by the Government of West Bengal, MAKAUT provides facilities for the pursuit of a degree and advanced-level courses in engineering, management and other professional areas through affiliated institutions and in-house departments. Post Graduate Entrance Test is conducted to qualify for various Post Grad courses in various disciplines in the university. Candidates with relevant AICTE recognized Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Pharmacy are eligible to apply. Candidates with a Master's degree in appropriate branches of sciences or students in the final year of any such programme can also apply.
To apply candidates need to follow this procedure:
1. Candidates need to download online at: www.wbut.ac.in
2. The brochure can be downloaded from the official website.
3. Certificates, testimonials and a Demand Draft of Rs 600/- for general category and Rs 300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates, drawn in favor of WBUT-PGET payable at Kolkata.
