Under Arjun Singh Center for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is inviting the application for the one-year correspondence course in Urdu. The language learning will be imparted in English and Hindi medium. Candidates who are interested in learning can apply for the course and the enrollment fee for the course in INR 100. However, for the foreign nationals (SAARC countries) the fee is 20 dollars and for others it is 50 dollars. There is no last date for the application and enrollments are open for the course throughout the year.
Candidates, who are interested in the course can get more information from the prospectus which can be obtained from the Center for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia. Candidates can also request the prospectus by sending self-addressed 24x12 cam, envelope stamped with INR 10 postage stamp.
According to the official notification, the course is free of cost.

In a separate development, the university has decided to upload the answer keys of the entrance tests held by the university for granting the admissions. 'This move of examination branch is in consonance with university's endeavor to bring about an ambiance of transparency under the stalwart-ship of Prof. Talat Ahmad, the Vice Chancellor of the university,' said Dr. A.A.A. Faizi, Controller of Examination, JMI.
