The results for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the year 2019 have been released. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can visit the official website -- kea.kar.nic.in or karresults.nic.in and check their results. The results were declared by the Higher Education Minister, Karnataka, G T Devegowda and the exam was conducted on April 23 and April 24, 2019.
Steps to check the results
- Visit the official website as mentioned above
- Click on the "CET 2019" results link
- A new page will open. Enter your exam details in the prescribed format
- Click on the submit button
- Your result will be displayed on the screen
- Download the result and take the print out of the same

This year, the number of students who appeared for the KCET exam were more than the number of students, who appeared for the exam in 2018. Also, while announcing the results G T Devegowda said that from 2020 the exam will be conducted in computer-based mode.

- The exam for the engineering stream was topped by the Jeffin Biju from Sri Chaitanya Techno PU College, Marathahal
- The exam for the Naturopathy and Yogic Science was topped by the Mahesh Anand from Sri Chaitanya Techno, Marathahalli
- The exam for the B.Sc. Agriculture was topped by the Keerthana M Arun of NPS, Rajajinagar
- The exam for the Pharmacy was topped by the Sai Saketika Chekuri of Sri Chaitanya Techno, Ramamurthy Nagar
