Indian Institute
of Foreign Trade is all set to kick-start the 11thedition of its
Annual Management and Cultural fest, Quo Vadis, from the 20th to the
22nd of January, 2017. This year the college will host the renowned
Bollywood playback singer, Mohit Chauhan on the 22ndof January, 2017
and the stand-up comedian Biswa Kalyan Rathon the 21st of January,
2017. A plethora of other scintillating events are scheduled to engross the crowd,
all in coherence with this year’s theme of ‘Youth Empowerment: Enlighten,
Evolve, Empower’ which is a sign of IIFT’s contribution to help India’s less
privileged youth by providing them training and growth opportunities.
As a part of Quo
Vadis 2017, the students of IIFT organized a Marathon, Blood Donation Camp and
Treasure Hunt in resonance with their theme.While the IIFT Marathon saw a large
participation of over 450 runners including children from NGOs, the Blood donation
camp was successfully patronized by the students, faculty and outside
participants. Pirates, the pan-Delhi Treasure hunt organized on the 8th
of January, 2017 was a hit among the biking community of Delhi and saw them
deciphering clues to complete the circuit in the minimum distance
possible.
Every year, the
fest sees active participation from the top 30 B-Schools of the country and
campuses in the Delhi-NCR region to the tune of 6000 people. Quo Vadis 2017 is
slated to be a grand affair with seven management events spanning across all
the major business domains and seven cultural competitions while playing host
to the North Zonal rounds of Hip Hop International and Femina Miss India Campus
Princess. This year, the flagship management event, Shastra, a two and a half
day battle ground for students of the top B-schools to prove their mettle, is
offering pre-placement interviews worth INR 18 lakhs per annum to the top 5
performers, making Quo Vadis 2017 one of the most sought after fests.
