The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is constituted under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980. It is the only recognized professional body of the country which aims at developing and regulating the profession of company secretaries. As of now four new courses have been launched by the institution now for the enhancement of skills of its students and members.
All the new courses are launched in association with the National institute of financial management and they range from 3 months to 15 years.

Course in valuation
The course will help the students to learn about proper business valuation and business transparency. The official of the institute said that "The main objective of the program is to build the skills of company secretaries in carrying out the valuation assignment relevant to today's business environment. Diploma in Internal Auditing
Upon asking about the essence of the course the official said "this course is designed to develop the skills of CS to conduct internal audit including compliance and operational audits, offering solutions for weaknesses in internal controls and verifying the subjective compliance of related laws and regulations."
Banking technologies and E-learning Module
Banks of India have major contribution in the development of Indian economy and therefore it is important for the professionals to learn banking terminologies and that's why the course has been launched.
International business taxation
Talking about this course the official spokesperson said "This course will mainly focus on providing specialized knowledge regarding all aspects of the international taxation. This is a 15-day online course. The registration for the same has been started and the duration of the course is three months."
