With board exams starting, in order to facilitate the students more CBSE has launched a mobile application which will help students in locating their respective examination centers.
The app is named "Exam Locator" and is designed to help students in locating their examination centers on the basis of their roll number.
“A student can easily find the address, images and geo-location of the designated exam center on the map and get to know how to reach there,” a senior official of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said.
“A student or a parent will have to register using mobile number to receive one time password (OTP) which will help the user log in to the mobile application. The user can then access information by selecting the option class X or XII and entering the roll number,” she added.
Based on the information provided by the student, the student's information, address and photograph of the exam center will be presented on the screen by the app for easy identification. The app also provided the route map which is very user friendly and can be accessed easily. CBSE exams for class X and XII are beginning today.
The exams for class X will end on April 10 and for class XII, they will continue till April 29
