Following the Delhi HC order, Delhi University has extended the application date for the undergraduate courses. Now, students can apply for the undergraduate courses until June22, 2019. The university will release the revised admission criteria on the official website today.
Earlier, Delhi HC had said that the changes in the eligibility criteria need to be made in accordance with the law which requires a minimum of six months of public notice to the public at large.
Now that the application date has been extended, the date of the release of the first cut-off has also been postponed. Earlier, the date of the release of the first cut-off was June 20, 2019.
This year again the cut-off is expected to go high as according to the reports, 94,299 students scored more than 90 percent marks in CBSE class 12th exams including 17,693 students who scored above 95 percent marks.
In 2018, the highest cut-off for the undergraduate course was announced by the Lady Shri Ram College which was 98.75% for the BA program.
