In a public notice regarding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018, the CBSE informed all the candidates that the registration process for the CTET exam has been postponed and is proposed to begin from June 22, 2018.
CBSE is the official organizer of the exam and candidates who were eagerly waiting to register themselves for the exams, will have to wait for more.
"The next date will be notified shortly. All the aspiring candidates may watch the CTET Website for the date," said a public notification from the Director, CTET.
The CBSE had released the official notification for the exam on June 12, after a gap of two-years. As mentioned in the notification, the CTET 2018 exam is due on September 16, 2018.
The exam is valid for the central government schools such as KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc. and schools under the administrative control of UT's of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
The exam may also valid in some private schools who may choose to consider the exam.
The 2108 exam will be held in two sessions -- Paper 1 and Paper 2 and once the registrations are open, candidates can visit the official website -- www.ctet.nic.in to register for the exam.
