The examination date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the official website of the CTET -- http://www.ctet.nic.in. According to the notification, the exam will be conducted by the CBSE on December 9, 2018. The exam will be conducted in around 92 cities to determine the eligibility of the candidates as a teacher for classes 1 to 8. Paper II will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm and the timings for the paper I will be 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
A candidate, who will score 60 percent or more in the exam will be considered as qualified and the qualifying certificate will be valid for seven years from the date of declaration of results.
Paper 1 will be for aspirants who wish to teach classes 1 to 5
Paper 2 will be for the aspirants who wish to teach classes 6 to 8
Paper pattern
The exam will contain multiple choice question and will be objective in nature. Each question will have four alternatives of which only one will be correct. Each correct answer will carry one mark and there will be no negative marks for the wrong answers.
Those who have qualified the exam, can appear again to improve their score. The last date to submit the fee is August 30 by 3:30 pm
