The first round of Consortium Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is all set to begin soon. The Executive secretary of ComedK S Kumar told that the first round of the engineering counseling will commence from July 4 and may continue for 14 days. The second round of counseling is expected to complete by the end of July, told the official. Candidates can apply for the counseling by visiting the official website -- comedk.org.
Documents required
At the time of counseling, candidates are required to bring the following documents:
- Admit card
- prove of nationality
- voters id card
- Aadhaar card
- a copy of the online application form
- HSC (Class 12) mark sheet
- SSC (Class 10) mark sheet
- Health certificate
Further, the authorities will allow only one person per candidate (parent or guardian) during the entire process. They will be required to carry any one of the below-mentioned documents for ID verification:
- passport
- Diving license
- Voter ID
- PAN card
- Aadhar card
This year, more than 76,000 candidates registered for the exam of which 62,306 appeared in the exam. The exam was scheduled on Sunday, May 13to determine the eligibility of the candidates for various engineering courses.
