After CBSE issued a show cause notice to some of its affiliate schools last week on its official website, this week the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notice to the schools in Delhi and Haryana in an attempt to regulate the schools which are violating the norms of the board.
According to the notice, five schools in Delhi and nineteen in Haryana have been issued notice by the board.
Following are the few rules which these schools were found to be violating:
- Implementation of safety measures
- Enrollment of the students according to the strength
- Uploading the prescribed data on their school websites
In the notice issued these schools have asked to send a reply giving good reasons for not canceling their affiliation with the CBSE and further, they have been asked to submit their replies within 15 days.
Statements from the officials
While commenting on the issue, a senior officer from CBSE told PTI, "The schools in Delhi which have been issued show-cause notices are Spring Fields Convent School, Ring Midyways Senior Secondary Public School, Gyanodaya Public School, Modern International School and New Sainik Public School."
Further, schools in Haryana which have been issued notice by the CBSE are located in the following regions
- Kurukshetra
- Rohtak
- Sonepat

- Jhajjar
CBSE is doing all in its power to ensure that students in schools get quality education. On the same lines a school in Kanpur has been debarred from admitting the students in class 11 and class 12 after the board found that the school was admitting the students without the necessary sanction.
