The
application date for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to
various teacher education programs has been extended by the National Council of
Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Teachers’ education programs are
offered by the Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs). Now, interested
candidates can apply online until May 30.
Through
Common Entrance Exam, candidates are shortlisted for RIE Ajmer, RIE Bhopal, RIE
Bhubaneswar, RIE Mysuru, NERIE Shillong, and Prarambh School for Teacher
Education Jhajjar, Haryana.
Candidates
can visit the official website -- 'cee.ncert.gov.in and apply for the exam. Now
that application date has been extended, all other processes related to the
exam will also get pushed back. Earlier, the exam was scheduled on May 24 but
NCERT will release the new dates in due time.
To apply,
candidates are required to submit their qualifying exam certificates. The last
date to submit the qualifying exam certificates for the B.Sc.B.Ed., B.A.B.Ed.,
and M.Sc.Ed. programs was June 10 and for the B.Ed., and M.Ed. was July 1, 2020.
Last dates for the certificate submission will also be extended.
