The deadline for registrations for NEET Phase 2 is currently, June 25, 2016 and many students are confused whether they should or should not register for the next phase of NEET.
The government has not yet released the answer key for the Phase 1 of the exam, conducted this year on May 1, and hence has rendered a majority of applicants confused. If a student registers for the second phase of the examination, he/ she is assumed to be surrendering the previous score, scored in the first phase.
Since the students have not been able to calculate their expected scores due to unavailability of the answer key, they are bamboozled about how to take the correct decision.
Parents and students have commenced writing letters to the CBSE regarding inquiry about releasing the answer keys to the phase 1 of the examination. A parent, Dr. Sanjeev Soni, in her letter wrote, "NEET-2 is for the betterment of students but how can they decide whether to give exam or not if they don't know the marks of NEET-1. So, it has been requested to kindly issue the OMR of NEET-1".
Teachers suggest that the last date for registration for the Phase 2 of the examination should be extended to June 30 and the students should wait until the answer key for NEET phase 1 has been released.
