All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducted entrance exam results for M.Sc Nursing courses offered by the institution. "¬"¬
The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. These institutes have been declared by Act of Parliament as institutions of national importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the fore-runner parent excellence institution, was established in 1956. AIIMS focuses on providing opportunities for training teachers for medical colleges in the country in an atmosphere of research and inquiry.
The M. Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam was conducted on June 25, 2016. Candidates can check the results on the official portal of the university. The candidates who clear the entrance exam, the names would be displayed on the list which will be released by the university on the official portal. The candidates who will be called for the first round of counseling, the names will be displayed on: https://www.aiimsexams.org/info/Result_new.html
The counseling is supposed to be conducted on August 02, 2016. Candidates whose names appear in the first list, they are required to carry the requisite documents for the counseling session. The list of documents according to the guidelines is:
i) Certificate from the Board showing his/her date of birth.
ii) Certificate of B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post-certificate)/Post-Basic/B. Sc. Nursing (4 years) from any recognized University, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.
iii) Self-attested copy of mark-sheet of the qualifying examination.
iv) Certificate of Registration as Nurse & Midwife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Council.
v) Proof of recognition of college from where the candidate has completed B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post-certificate)/Post-Basic/B.Sc. Nursing (4 years)
vi) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/OPH category (applicable only if mentioned in the application form) are required to bring the copy of the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form as appended in the Prospectus.
In an official notice it is clearly mentioned that, candidates will exercise their choice of the course when called during the counseling as per their rank in their respective category. Choice thus made will be final and no claim will be entertained in this regard thereafter. Verification of the above mentioned documents is scheduled on August 1, 2016.
