It was a shock for Karnataka Secondary Education Board, when the result for SSLC declared on July 14th. According to the statistics only 45,657 students got passed in SSLC exam.
Total number of students who have appeared for the supplementary exam are 1,75,187 and only 45,657 students (26.07 per cent) hardly cleared the examination. The result of this examination was initially declared on 14th July 2016 on it's official website www.kseeb.kar.nic.in.
Yashoda Bopanna, The Director of Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board Said "The students can apply for recounting of marks and xerox copies of answer sheets between July 15 and 25. They can apply for revaluation of answer sheets within seven days of the receipt of xerox copies."
Yashoda Bopanna further added, "For recounting marks, fee of Rs 150 per subject has been fixed. For xerox copies, Rs 300 has to be remitted, while Rs 700 has been fixed for revaluation,"
SSLC exam were conducted in the month of June this year and In total, 8.50 lakh students appeared for the examination at various centers.
