SSC CGL exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission and the exam is of utmost importance for the candidates seeking to make a career in the Indian Government. This year SSC announced that it has received more than 30 lakh applications for the tier 1 exam.
The exam will be conducted by the commission from August 1 to August 20 in four different tiers and now, with only half a month left in the exam, it is now high time to gear up and formulate a proper study plan.
Revision
The best way to revise is to go through all topics and not to get stuck on few topics. Students must consider their strong and weak areas and focus more on the strong areas to fetch more points but, should not completely ignore the areas where they are weak. Revise GS as much as possible because it has no definite syllabus and is very wide in the scope.
Notes
If you have prepared notes and they are scattered in various notebook then collect those notebooks in one compact location so that you don’t have to find them every time you want to revise. Also, highlight important topics in the notes for last minute revision.
Mock test
Practice online mock tests as much as you can to get the experience of the real exam. Check your scores in the mock test; analyze them and prepare accordingly. This will help you in increasing your efficiency and speed.
Ask for help
If you are experiencing difficulty in some topics then don’t shy away from asking for help from experienced teacher as not only this may solve your problem but also, may help you in understanding some topics which couldn't before.
Take breaks
It is important to study but it is also important to take breaks. Prepare for your exam but also take time to maintain your physical and mental health. During the exam days eat healthy, avoid junk food and catch enough sleep to keep your mind fresh.
