The popularity of Japanese universities is very low as compared to universities of UK. Providing information Hata said that only 550 students studied in Japan where as 1.5 lakh students studied in UK.
To promote the universities the Japan, twenty of their universities took part in an education fair in India. They had the motive to attract Indian student who wanted to study abroad. The 20 universities representing Japan had tagged their education system as very affordable as compared to the education system of the west.
To promote their education system, the Japanese universities have decided to provide first hand guidance and counseling in a fair that they recently held. This education fair had been attended by 1000 students from Delhi’s schools and colleges. They have planned to organize another fair in Pune and Bangalore.
“India has a huge student population which will prove to be very beneficial for the Japanese education system” Said Satoshi Hata the manager of Ritsumeikan University. These universities are offering English undergraduate and post graduate level. They are even offering course for learning Japanese for free. They have also provided different opportunities in different student support services.
India and Japan’s relationship has significantly improved on the basis of economic welfare. This is due to the improvement of the educational welfare between India and Japan. At the moment we have to do this one step at a time and look forward to increase human relationships. It is one of the most important parts which strengthen the relation between two nations. The main role will depend on the field of education, as told to India by the Japanese ambassador.
Based on the report that has released on the year 2012 by the IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Bangalore, the amount of students from India going abroad has increased significantly, almost by 256%, from 53,266 to 189,629, between the years 2000 and 2009. Education is one of the most effective ways to enhance the bond between two countries.
It has found out that only a small percentage of the Indian students were studying Japan than the amount studying in US. But that was not a matter pride for Japan. But it has been reported and analyzed that the environment favorable for studies is prevailing only in Japan rather than US and UK where the student population is more.
The Japan government showed keen interest to attract the large number of students of India. As compared to other nations, there are quite a large number of students in India. In the west, there is large number of places for studying. But Japan provides the best educational means around the world.
The relation between two nations provides benefit in administrative means. So the nation must play tricks to improve the bond between two nations and education is the best mean by so far. Students will be highly benefitted by the quality of education provided by Japan. So this is beneficial to both the nations and the students.
